Unexpected

I went to this pool hall for my friend's birthday last month. One could say I was a intoxicated, but hey, I was rebounding and needed to be numb. Anyway, I was drinking a beer poured from a pitcher, and as I sipped it, something soft and squishy bobbed against my lips. In my stupor, I reached into the glass and fished out an intact, sauteed shiitake mushroom cap. I would have thrown up had I not been so far into inhibriated La La Land.

I know, there are far grosser things to discover in one's beer, but where the fuck did a pool hall get a shiitake mushroom???
